I have learned over the last 10 or so years that the hardest part of moving forward is forgiving yourself. For you see, we can't control what others think of us and God already made all of the provisions for us to be forgiven through His GRACE. That only leaves us.
In the name of not forgiving myself, I did everything possible including 3 suicide attempts. But God wasn't done with me yet. I live today looking at scares on my arms from self-mutilation that reminds me of how far I can fall. But what God has made me realize is how far I can come back. Instead of seeing the scars on my arms as a reminder of a VERY dark and unpleasant time I see them as a promise that he let me survive for a cause.
Within the next couple of weeks I should be speaking before a church for the first time in over 10 years and God has already shown me what lays in store for me. I am amazingly excitied and hopeful of the promise that lays ahead.

In the days ahead pray for me that God will strengthen those around me as I share what God lays on my heart. I thank God for blessing me with an amazing daughter who almost daily challenges me to be all I can.
